Exceptional service recognised again by industry award

FOR the second year running, JLG Industries has won the prestigious Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) Access Supplier Of The Year award.
The award was announced in front of 350 industry peers at a gala dinner held during the HRIA industry convention on the Gold Coast in May.
Paying tribute to exceptional standards of service and innovation displayed by the rental industry, the HRIA’s annual awards cover nine categories, including the recently-introduced, Access Supplier Of The Year.
HRIA national president Mark Scarce presented the awards. “Our annual industry awards provide an opportunity to pay tribute to those companies providing outstanding service
in all categories of the hire and rental market. We warmly congratulate all finalists and winners in the 2012 field,” Mr Scarce said.
According to JLG general manager for Australia and New Zealand Bob Mules, the award was public recognition for the investment and discipline that JLG had put into after-sales support.
“We survey our customers quite often to gain feedback on what we could do better and the findings from these surveys genuinely drive the direction of our support activities,” Mr Mules said.
“For the past five years we have made major investments in field service, regional support systems and technical support – all with the goal of making it easier for our clients to keep their access equipment working longer.”
Mr Mules said that the culture at JLG was to never rely on the company’s past success.
“We are always analysing our customer touch points and challenging each other on how we can improve our support. This supplier of the year award is an important reward for all our staff,” he said. JLG is an Oshkosh Corporation company and a leading designer and manufacturer of powered access equipment.
