Expanding services across Asia-Pacific region

A specialist in the rental of containers, accommodation and engineering modules to the international offshore energy industry, Ferguson Group has announced the successful expansion of its services in the Asia-Pacific region following major investment across its divisions in the Det Norske Veritas (DNV) certified fleet. The company is also continuing to invest in the growth of its Ferguson Modular division’s fleet of high-quality A60 DNV 2.7-1 accommodation and workspace modules to support international operators and major service companies.
“Since we entered the Asia-Pacific market we have secured a number of contracts for major operators and projects, including the Woodside Angel and Pluto projects, in addition to projects in the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Indonesia
and Australia,” Ferguson Modular business development manager South East Asia/ Australasia Gary Lindsay said.
Ferguson Group’s Singapore-based Seacabs division will soon take delivery of new containers of various sizes including: half-height containers; dry goods containers; tanks and skips; and cargo baskets. All of the containers are manufactured to DNV 2.7-1 and European Standards EN 12079.
“Expanding our product ranges and fleet size allows us to meet the growing needs of customers in the region and maintain the Ferguson Group values: to provide high-quality products, short lead times and exceptional customer support in all of our locations,” Ferguson Seacabs chief executive officer Eirik Ellingsen said.
Ferguson Group’s new IceBlue Refrigeration Offshore division provides refrigeration and freezing solutions for offshore transportation and storage.
Units supplied by the new division have been made available for supply to clients operating throughout the Asia-Pacific region. All refrigerated containers are certified in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 and EN 12079, and are available in sizes
including 2.5m, 3m and 6m.
To support ongoing growth across the Asia-Pacific region, Ferguson Group has expanded its operations with a new, larger facility in WA that was specifically designed to meet the needs of the company as demand for its product ranges increases.
