New parent company powers marine specialist ahead

THE future looks bright for mooring specialist Jeyco following a takeover by Actuant-Cortland in February.
As part of the global group, Jeyco now has the added resources to take on new challenges and support a broader range of projects currently under construction and still in the pipeline, throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
With a broad range of clients including Chevron, Boskalis, McConnell Dowell, Woodside and BHP Billiton, Jeyco has built an enviable reputation for providing comprehensive best practice mooring and rigging solutions.
“Jeyco prides itself on being able to work with all types of players in the marine, oil and gas, engineering and infrastructure sectors, providing a consistent level of service to all of them,”Jeyco general manager Chris Battel said.
The company recently completed works (concurrently) at the Gorgon gas project in WA and at Hay Point in Queensland, proving that it can deliver best practice turnkey solutions across Australia on time and on budget.
Jeyco’s engineering team provides a full range of services including: project management; mooring location surveys; mooring design and analysis; installation engineering and analysis; procedural development; and project procurement and logistics, in addition to project risk and hazard identification studies.
