Offering clients a full operational readiness solution

AUSTRALIAN owned and operated specialist engineering consultancy K2 Technology has grown during the last 12 years into a leading supplier of a broad range of asset management services to the resources sector.
The company has now been awarded the maintenance engineering services contract for the Chevron-operated Gorgon project. “As a specialist in the area of asset management and operational readiness, K2 is proud to have been selected to support the Gorgon project,” K2 managing director Noel Bonnick commented. “The award of this contract continues the close association K2 has had with the Gorgon project for some time and reinforces the relationship K2 has developed with Chevron.”
In the last five years, the company has added a full range of services to its traditional maintenance and reliabilityservices background. These include supply chain management, operational engineering support and advanced database system development; enabling K2 to now offer a true operational readiness solution to its clients.
The company is currently in the final stages of completing the operational readiness build for Woodside’s North Rankin 2 facility off the northwest coast of WA. “This represents the dedication of more than three years of work from an integrated team of K2 and Woodside staff, which will
deliver a world-class system ahead of facility start up,” Mr Bonnick said.
