See Civil

See-CivilFAMILY-owned civil construction business See Civil has been servicing the oil and gas industry since 1988, specialising in an extensive range of civil construction and crushing and screening projects and handling contracts valued from under $1 million to major works worth well in excess of $35 million.

It was during the undertaking of such projects that See Civil noticed a recurring problem on sites everywhere when it came to handling bulk materials. The company observed the need for a cost effective and efficient process for transporting, separating and crushing material. In response to this need, it developed a processing plant capable of receiving large volumes of material that could then be sorted and distributed; the result was the mobile, high production bulk material handling trommel plant package.

The standard trommel configuration incorporates a large capacity hopper bin and heavy duty apron feeder to supply material to the 3m diameter trommel.  Further screening and crushing can then be incorporated, tailored to suit the specifications of almost any oil and gas site.

The technology is ideal for sites wanting to improve productivity and lower bulk materials handling costs. The design of the plant is robust, simple and low maintenance, and its mobility reduces the capital expenses of purchasing and commissioning fixed plant that can otherwise render operations uneconomical.
It takes two days for the trommel plant to be installed and commissioned once initial site earthworks are complete and it only requires a level, compacted pad size of 100m by 100m. The plant has proven its performance with consistent throughput results of more than 1500t per hour.
